Dozens of shops , properties worth millions of naira have been destroyed when there was a fire Outbreak in Maiduguri on Thursday night.
According to the News Agency Of Nigeria( NAN), the fire Outbreak started at about 8:00pm in which it lasted for several hours . Security personnel, Service men where there to extinguish the fire in order to prevent more damages.
The Public Relations Officer ( PRO) of Borno Fire Service, Mr Ambursa Pinda also confirmed the incident .
Some observers who spoke with the News Agency of Nigeria( NAN) said that the fire started at one particular shop and engulfed other shops in the market.
Security Personnels are presently surrounding the market to guard the environment against hoodlums.
