Christians have been admonished to stay connected with God as the protector of their lives in all ramifications.

This was a statement made by the Lord Bishop of Ibadan Diocese Anglican Communion, His Grace, The Most Revd . Dr. Joseph Olatunji Akinfenwa.

Bishop Akinfenwa, made this call on Sunday the 27th October , 2019 in an interview with newsmen in Ibadan at the just concluded 2019 Jesus Festival celebration which ended with a Thanksgiving service at the Cathedral of Saint James The Great , Oke-Bola, Ibadan.

The theme for the Jesus festival celebration was tagged” The Fragrance of Victory”

Bishop Akinfenwa urged Christians to always allow God to remain their fragrance of victory, as he is the only one who is reliable in every situation.

According to him he said, whatever we are in life is fully by the grace of God.

In the same vein, the Lord Bishop of Jebba Diocese, Rt Revd . Aderogba in his sermon said, the essence of God’s fragrance of victory is for Christians to shine for the lord , thereby having a good testimony with God which is a sign of his fragrance of victory.

Bishop Aderogba also stated that there is the need for regular fire in the lives of Christians which enables God’s fragrance of victory to be seen in one’s life.

Other important personalities present at the Thanksgiving service were the royal father of the day, Oba Dokun Thompson who is the Oloni of Eti-Oni, Osun State, (Rtd). Bishop of Ijesha Diocese The Rt Reverend .Dr T.O.B . Fajemirokun among others.
