Reports reaching The communicator says the federal government has come out together with the Director of Headquarters that the final rites and journey to the grave beyond for late Chief of Defence Staff, Alex Badeh, will be kick starting as from Sunday the 20th of January , 2019. The funeral ceremony will also include a special service of songs and night of tributes to honour the late Chief of Defence Staff.
The late Chief of Defence staff was assassinated on the 19th of December, 2019 when coming back from his farm to his house by suspected hoodlums in the community. Before his death, he was said to have had corruption charges pending with the economic and financial crimes commission, EFCC until his last breath.
