Angry protesters have occupied major roads with burning tyres and rocks in Zimbabwe on Monday after a which the government doubled the price of fuel in order to improve supplies as the nation battles it’s worst gasoline shortages in a decade.

It was said that protesters turned back drivers and blocked the buses from carrying passengers in Zimbabwe’s two main cities of Harare and Bulawayo as the main labour federation had called for a three-day Nationwide Strike.
