In the meantime, reports reaching the COMMUNICATOR’S blog reports that this morning,the First Lady of Nigeria, Dr. Mrs. Aisha Muhammadu Buhari has just returned to the country after a long holiday in the UK. It was earlier on on Saturday evening announced that Mrs Buhari was about to depart UK for Nigeria as at 10pm on Saturday night.
Mrs Buhari arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport at 4.30am this morning via a British Airways flight.
While Speaking to reporters on arrival, Mrs. Buhari said she was happy to be home after a well-deserved rest. She also confirmed that she was fully ready to continue the work of improving the health and well-being of women, children and other vulnerable Nigerians.
She used the opportunity to thank her husband, family and well-wishers for their support and encouragement.
Mrs Buhari was well received by some women including wives of some State governors among others.
